Welcome to Tuition Connector. By using our website and services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Nature of Our Service

Tuition Connector is a tuition-matching service based in Singapore. We connect parents/students (“Clients”) with private tutors (“Tutors”).

We act only as a coordinator and do not employ the tutors. We do not control their teaching methods, materials, or schedules.

2. Free Matching for Parents

Our matching service is free for parents and students. You do not pay any agency fee to Tuition Connector.

All tuition fees are paid directly to the tutor.

3. Tutor Recommendations

We recommend tutors based on the information you provide, including:

  • Child’s level and subjects
  • Location
  • Schedule and availability
  • Budget
  • Any special requirements or preferences

However, the final decision to engage a tutor is made by the parent or student.

While we do our best to recommend suitable tutors, we do not guarantee:

  • Specific grade improvements
  • Any particular academic result
  • That a tutor will always be a perfect fit

4. Lesson Confirmation & Cancellations

Once a tutor is confirmed and a lesson is scheduled, the first lesson is considered an official paid lesson.

If you need to postpone or cancel a confirmed lesson, please inform the tutor at least 24 hours in advance to avoid misunderstandings.

5. Commission (For Tutors)

Tuition Connector earns a commission from tutors, not from parents.

Unless otherwise stated, our commission is typically deducted from the first 1–2 lessons’ fees or an agreed equivalent amount.

Tutors agree not to:

  • Skip or cancel lessons to avoid commission
  • Request advance payment directly from parents before commission is cleared
  • Back out unreasonably after accepting an assignment

Tutors who breach these terms may be blacklisted from future assignments.

6. Payments

Parents pay tuition fees directly to the tutor, according to the agreed rate and payment schedule (e.g. per lesson, weekly, or monthly).

Tuition Connector is not responsible for any payment disputes between parents and tutors.

7. Tutor Replacement

If you are not satisfied with a tutor, please inform us. We will do our best to provide a replacement tutor as soon as possible.

Parents remain responsible for payment of all lessons that have already been conducted.

8. Tutor Responsibilities

Tutors are responsible for providing accurate and truthful information about their:

  • Qualifications and academic results
  • Teaching experience
  • Subjects and levels they can teach
  • Availability and expected rates

Tuition Connector is not liable for any false, incomplete, or misleading information provided by tutors.

9. Parent / Client Responsibilities

Parents and students agree to provide accurate information regarding:

  • Student’s level and subjects
